Sponzors of the Tournament are Ministry of Tourism, District of Primorsko Goranska, City Rijeka and Croatian Chess Federation.
Place, Schedule
Tournament will be held in Rijeka, 14.th. - 21.st December 2008. Tournament halls are in Home of Chess, adress: B. Polića 2, Rijeka.

System and rate of play
Round-Robin, 9 rounds. Games are rated, players can win IM and GM norms. The playing time will be 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 15 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from first.
