Chess club "Junior" was founded in 1993 by two friends: Goran Mufic and George Djosevic. In the beggining, club was created for young chess players, therefore, it was called "Junior". First players in club were Marin Ramesa, Davor Ramesa, Velin Grozdanic, Bojan Sikanjic, Marin Bosiocic and Marko Bosiocic, at that time aged between 5 and 10. Fifteen years later all theese players still play and work in club. In the meantime previously mentioned won many team and individual national and international championships. As time passed the "young ones" become seniors, so, today "Junior" has senior team , as well as junior team.

Nowadays, "Junior" competes in 1st. - B National League with ambition to move forward to the 1st. - A. We are interested to hire one grandmaster to achieve this goal, so if you are grandmaster interested in playing for our club feel free to contact us.
